The 6-Shuttle Plastic Circular Loom is designed for the efficient production of endless tubular or flat woven fabric using PP or HDPE tapes. It is suitable for manufacturing woven material used in packaging applications such as sacks, bags, liners, and other industrial woven products.
With a working width of 300–850 mm, the loom offers flexible production for different fabric sizes and specifications. Its six-shuttle configuration delivers weft insertion speeds of up to 1,200 picks per minute, supporting stable, high-output weaving while maintaining consistent fabric quality.
The machine incorporates independent drive and take-up control, automatic tape-break monitoring, adjustable fabric haul-off, a surface winding system, and a computerized loom controller. These features help operators manage production parameters, identify faults quickly, and maintain reliable fabric formation throughout the weaving process.
The loom can produce both tubular and flat woven fabric in widths from 300 to 850 mm, allowing manufacturers to serve a variety of packaging and industrial applications using one machine.
The warp infeed system uses intake and intermediate rollers to guide the tape smoothly into the machine and maintain even warp tension. Stable tape feeding helps improve fabric uniformity and reduces irregularities during weaving.
Each warp tape passes through a compensator that monitors tape continuity. When a broken tape is detected, the loom automatically stops and indicates the affected section through pilot lamps positioned around the machine. This allows operators to locate problems quickly and helps reduce defective fabric.
A magnetic sensor continuously monitors the weft tape supply. When a weft break occurs, the haul-off speed is automatically reduced to help prevent a visible defect from forming in the fabric.
A separate colour sensor detects when the weft tape is nearly exhausted and stops the loom before the tape runs completely off the bobbin, further reducing the risk of weaving faults.
The fabric haul-off speed is infinitely adjustable. Operators can set the required weft density through the loom controller and make adjustments while the machine is running, providing greater control over fabric weight, construction, and appearance.

Three manual control stations are positioned around the loom, giving operators convenient access to start, stop, and inch controls from different working positions. This improves machine accessibility during setup, inspection, and routine operation.
The integrated surface winder accommodates tubular or flat fabric rolls with a maximum roll diameter of 1,200 mm. Progressive winding-tension control supports neat and consistent roll formation.
The main inverter and take-up inverter are separate in the standard configuration. These components can be sourced more easily from the market, helping simplify maintenance and reduce potential downtime. The upgraded loom controller is also designed to provide stable functionality and straightforward operation.

How do you match loom capacity to tape-line output so the line stays balanced?
A: A balanced line means the weaving stage consumes tape at the rate the extruder produces it. FREDAVID specifies loom count and speed against tape-line output so the two stages are matched, avoiding idle capacity or shortfall at either end.
